Do women not normally use the terminology? I legit overheard two of my female friends EXTENSIVELY lamenting the existence of "beta males," so I assumed it was common parlance.

I am due to my personality, line of work and general responsibilities. I don't act like a douchebag though, I encourage my friend's and family to do well in life. Other than that I identify as a regular normal man.
I am the man that people come to for life advice and help fixing things, I have accepted my role in life.

You are wrong. People here predominantly identify as incels. Besides, calling yourself an alpha is too cliche. It's more common for people like that to identify as high value males. But such people don't hang around these parts. When it comes to me personally, I don't really identify with any such terms. I find it too constraining and ego-fueled. It's for other people to assign whatever label to me that they see fit, while I just exist.

I don't self identify as any of them, personally. It's a fluid dynamic that is subject to social pressures. When I was in the infantry I was a team leader, so I was an "alpha" when it came to my team. However as someone who wasn't even an actual NCO, I was a "beta" when it came to the circle of leaders. At work I'm equal to everyone around me but I still sometimes tell my team leads what to do because they have less experience in our field than I do, so am I an alpha? Am I a beta? Am I a fuckin smegma male?

The terminology in and of itself is gay and reductivist outside of a few select situations

hello women, man here. Alpha doesn't exist. It was a hypothesis in a study by a faggot, that failed to prove anything. Nonetheless morons like journalists, etc picked up on it and blew all of it way out of proporiton. if you need an approximate comparison, it'd be something like
