Total streamer death
It feels like there aren't any prominent streamers or content creators left anymore, just sloptubers, grifters, etc. I can't really describe what it is, but we're definitely not in the mid to late 2010s anymore where streamers and content creators were very dominant form of entertainment on the internet. It wasn't that great, and I didn't watch that many streamers, but now we're in a worse scenario where everyone is just consuming random slopcreator content, shorts, tiktok, etc. The internet is just progressively getting worse, and would be fully "dystopian" by 2030 or something. I need to get off this garbage already.

This was my guy back in the day. They banned him for being too funny and being a womanizer. That's why twitch sucks ass hole.

Go to the library or something next time you think about sitting down to watch youtube videos.

I want to see all of these little faggots de-banked.

Every streamer with 10k+ viewers should have all their money ripped away from them so I can see them bawling their eyes out on stream before that channel is promptly banned too.

Fuck these little parasites.

That's going to happen, at least to streamers like hasan, destiny, xqc, when we fully transition to slop content. The only streamers immune to it would be e-girls like emiru and pokimane, for obvious reasons.

You'll get what you want.

xqc is the same as he was in 2000's. Not even sure why he does this anymore. It certainty isn't about money anymore

Things are just getting more and more efficient over time

What happened is all the normies got terminally online with covid. Top 1% of streamers are just today's politicians. They say what sparks outrage and controversy. Meanwhile all these smaller parasites make a living reporting drama like they don't have skeletons in their closet too.

It's honestly proven that not only do we live in a dog eat dog world but even without the influence of major corporations or billionaires humans still succumb to this disgusting rumor and drama addict lifestyle.

And this also happens on smaller levels. Workplaces, friend groups, hell even sitting around a restaurant or bar for a night. This socially dystopian problem has always been prevalent when you give a group of humans too much interaction with one another

ill expand,
Slop hijacks the reward center in the brain more efficiently than non slop so as things continue to get more efficient driven by monetary incentive structures, the genuine will be replaced with slop
Why watch a movie when you can watch 100 videos on tiktok and receive more dopamine

Why are some brains resistant to slop and some crave actual art and non-slop? It also seems like someone is trying to narrow it down to the population being comprised of slop-consuming brains.

It's not just donations, but subscriptions, and ads. Also it's AT LEAST 6 figs or high 5 figs. Top 5% streamers make mid 6 figs I reckon. This is not including other businesses they own, assets, and investments.

For the same reason everybody has access to the same food but only some portion of the population gets fat. Some people know not to shovel trash into their mouths despite it feeling good because of long term consequences.
Unlike shitty food the consequences of frying your brain with slop are more obscured so a larger portion of the population won't stop consuming it. It's also more addictive because it's free and there's no barrier. You have to go to a store to buy food, you almost can't exist without a smartphone now.

Every time I remember some garbage my child brain loved on pre-gamergate youtube I think to myself "I mean obviously it was garbage made with stupid kids in mind" and then I go back and watch it and it's all still very funny and feels like its own thing.
There's just no value in modern online content. The idea of it being its own thing that was free to be a true expression of the creator that stood no chance at commercial renumeration is dead and buried.
Sure, you can still upload videos like that, but there are so many parasites that are willing to play ball exactly how Google and their sponsors want them to that you are definitely never going to build an audience beyond what the discords you drop links in.

Kick staff pushed a streamer to torture someone to death live. There's plenty of places for le edgybois to stream now.

Every week, ~15 million pigs (smarter than dogs/cats) are killed after living their entire lives in torture facilities.
You don't give a shit about animal suffering, same as basically everyone else. Animals are purely for human pleasure.

So... apparently this socialist leftist "working class" millionaire streamer mom is a landlord and owns 500 units in LA and +2000 in Turkey... He's like rich rich rich. Why are so many poor leftists throwing money at him? Height is everything huh?

>I can't really describe what it is

I grew up in the 90's. They told me "rap is a person talking" then I was 20 and muble rap got popular I don't "get" what young people like about it, then I eventually realize: yes, rap was just people talking. People like what they grew up with.
70's and 80's songs has reduced music to repetitive chorus 50's and 60's music was about the frontman and not about the music, things it will keep changing, new stuff will keep coming and you are left behind

Been like that for a decade. The biggest turning point was Amazon buying Twitch and injecting an enormous amount of money in the system.
If you donate to or take seriously any of these people today you're a fucking retard, on the same level of someone who spends money on onlyfans, maybe worse.
Anonymous No.82843782 [Report]
>>82843483
The difference is that with both 90s rap and mumble rap the product was the same, stylistic choices just changed over the years.
A rapper offers you a discography. Maybe it sounds like Tribe, maybe it sounds like Kodak but it's the same concept.
Streamers offer nothing. They're never famous for being funny, they're never famous for being good at something, and they are all retarded so it certainly isn't their insight. It's not that the reason why people enjoy it is hard to understand, it's that the reason is completely invalid and a factual measure of social decline. They want a virtual sense of belonging and settle for some grifter existing parasocially instead of pursuing community in at least a kinda/sorta constructive way.

I like Vinesauce and Jerma, both have barely changed in the last 10+ years and play a decent variety of things, and pretty recently have been streaming together
