it isn't and hiro has said such in the past. the reason we were split into 2 sites for like 8 years was because he wanted to make 4channel more profitable than 4chan by being only sfw and still failed and merged them back. maybe if they brought back text only boards for some boards there would be less cost used by image storage.

I think we're a much nicer site than Reddit. There's way more explicit calls for violence in the most normie subreddits than there is on /pol/. It's not fair that our site gets a bad reputation.
