You should be good. dont take my word for it. If you're doing it for impulsive reasons that aren't fully thought out but just done on a whim then I would suggest you dont do it. You wouldn't actually be committed to it and instead are more likely to not stick with it. Work a regular job at a warehouse, at a hospital as a cleaner, as a cook, at retail, wherever they hire you and get a feel for working a 9 to 5, commuting, clocking in, managing your money, day in, day out. Do it for a year or two, and then ask yourself after clocking in and out, if you would like to join the military. It will give you a different perspective on things. You won't take it for granted and will have a different view on it. It won't just be a young and dumb mistake when I was 18 but a career path and you understand that it is a job, you will have to clock in and do what you need to do, and you will use it is a stepping stone for something bigger than just be young and dumb, enlist cause idk what to do with my life, and it be a huge waste of time because you realize this isn't what you wanted but now you're here and definitely don't want to do this.
The choice is yours mate. It is up to you if you want to go with it or not. I can't make that choice for you. If you're 18, can't get a job, live with your parents, aren't in college, get off 4chan, it is too young to be resigning yourself to a fatalistic doomer mentality. You won't be a virgin forever, 18 is still young and it isn't uncommon to be a virgin at that age. You don't need to consume hours upon hours of doom rotting defeatist rhetoric that gets you nowhere and nothing. Work a job, save up your money, you don't need to have everything figured out right at this moment but you need to start doing something and figuring things out as you go. wgdpv
