Because we're talking through emails and I used my burner/useless email that I rarely check ever. I had a busy week and I forgot to check and email him back until it was Saturday afternoon

well anon, i also use a burner email to talk to some people here, but like...
if you're interested in talking to someone, even through a busy week, you'll either move them to a more active email or you'll keep checking it anyway
the day has 24 hours and it takes less than 10 minutes to check your inbox

I am in the exact same position as you anon. Except for worse. I ghosted them for over a month cuz I was binging drugs. I cant imagine our conversation will ever be the same once I talk to him again. Should I completely move on or at least explain them what happened before moving on?
