i...i can't fucking do it bwos... I finally stopped being a neet a month ago and have been working for some money for new computers for my sister and I. I haven't missed a single day despite me fighting myself every single night to not quit. Being poor and living with the bare minimum was horrible. But spending every waking moment at work or having the clock tick down fast towards the next night of work is even worse. I was told I would be able to adjust. But it's been a month and it's even more horrible than when I first started. I'm constantly fighting being anxious and my eyes are in a permanent state of watering when i'm there. Every hour I have to go to the bathroom to cry a bit and calm myself down while working. How do you do it bwos... please, I need some advice to get me through this. Before this job I hadn't left my house in 5 years.

Aw, that's nice.
Yeah, no, working sucks ass. Anyone who says they enjoy working is full of shit and delusional. Just stick with it and try to drown out the bullshit.

dunno about OP but I felt like that at a generic office job, the kind that any normalfag would regard as a low-stress easy-street thing.

My theory about it is that normalfags tend not to mind that much because they have a high stress tolerance but a low boredom tolerance. They'll do stuff just for the sake of doing something, they're very restless. And they're highly social so even if they don't have a lot in common with their coworkers, they can find something to relate to them about, and they want to see people, any people, in preference to being alone. If you're the opposite of this, a job that normies would consider cushy is incredibly awful, and every day is a reminder that you have to do it for the next 40 years.

OK well why don't you get a job that you like then?

The part that's unpleasant is the responsibility and the having to live on a schedule and see other people and go to a place at a specific time every day and complete tasks with deadlines. Basically the "job" part of having a job is the awful part.

Didn't school prepare you for that?

No, school was awful too. The difference is that when you're a kid you have parents and teachers and so on constantly psyopping you and gaslighting you that it totally changes and gets better once you're out of school and into the """real world""". So you tend to believe that, or at least you can say "Well, if I just hang on to the end of this shit, then..." When in fact it just gets worse.

you're doing great buddy keep it up
your brain still hasn't shifted to wagie mode, you'll know you're there when going to work becomes like the time skip function in a videogame and you completely turn off your brain and stop giving a shit for 8 hours straight. you just show up to work, start working on some task and boom 8 hours of your life gone forever just like that and you can remember maybe an hour of it at most.

I feel this everday. I hate my life so much at this office job I have. I've been between 2-3 of them in my career and I have never been more miserable.

Sometimes I just get up and leave and go home and come back at 4:30. No one asks anything. Been doing this for years. I cannot explain how awful the office is.

I would rather work remote, get my work done in an hour, and then game the rest of the day. I've been applying left and right and can't escape. I want to die.

It genuinely doesn't get better OP. Been stuck for about 6 years and still hate every fucking minute of it.
