>When people talk about "self-improvement" it usually boils down to becoming more attractive to women whether they admit it or not.
That's false. The nature of stating that you have to move to an "improved" sate assigns normative value to that progression: that it's moving from a state that's "worse" to a state that's "better" normatively speaking. So no, people don't have it in mind that self-improvement encompasses actions that are normatively "bad", such as committing a mass shooting.
>But here's the thing there isn't actually much you can do to increase your attractiveness because it mostly comes down to the size and structure of your bones
This is the black pill and it's false. Physical attractiveness plays a big role in male attractiveness, but it's not the only factor. Markers of socioeconomic status are perhaps the most powerful attraction sources you can have. That's why serial killers who look like tomatoes like John Wane Gacy get swarmed with love letters. That's why famous ugly musicians fuck more groupies in a year than male models do in their lifetimes (like every rapper is fucking short). That's why you can have a streamer like Destiny who's short and has a body of a diseased gremlin fucking hundreds of groupies including eventually fucking every woman who comes on his stream. The black pill's claim that it's only looks and that nothing else matters is bullshit.
