because you aren't supposed to actually listen to what she's saying, you're just supposed to hear it. she'll get offended if you try to skip or interviene with the womanslop avalanche she's vomiting out. treat it like a boring movie, disconnect yourself from your senses and think about gooning or your favourite pepe or something. if you're really bored you can try and see how many times you can subtly change the subject of the convo. women don't mind going on random tangents when they decide its time for talkies so she probably won't notice that you changed the subject 4 times in the past 15 minutes, hell, she'll probably say that you're a good listener if anything. don't give advice, don't try to help and don't criticise her, affirm whatever she's feeling and throw in some NPC dialogue here and there and you'll be good to go.
