>What's smoking crack like compared to snorting coke?
It's like drinking vodka compared to drinking beer, respectively. Crack is a way more potent stimulant, a rapid euphoria-inducer, and more addictive being smoked. Crack's basically a more concentrated form of Coke so it's stronger in general, not considering that commonly one is smoked and other snorted.
>All I hear are negative things about crack
Justly so. Crack's a very addictive hard drug.
Crack use is generally a quick way to fuck up your life: overspending on binges, compulsive redosing, malnutrition, severe immediate and long-term health risks (such as Crack-lung which develops in only 48 hours of use and damages lung tissue), overdose risk, and ruined relationships all around as your life falls apart right before your very eyes.
>coke is basically worshipped in my town
That's the status of the drug showing.
Coke's not as addictive as Crack, since snorting is more restrictive than smoking.
The high's short-lived, which leads to compulsive redosing and binges, but without the intencity of Crack to chase after.
Health risks depend on frequency of use, length of use, and dose. But the usual "Coke enjoyer" does a 100$ bag a night max and takes long breakes. Unlike a binging Crackhead who uses too much for too long.
Coke is essentially Crack-lite.
Whatever Crack does, Coke also does but to a lesser more manegeable extent.
Thus Coke remains a functional drug in social setting unlike Crack, which is not built for social setting, and will usually tweak you way out-of-your-mind to be functional or social at all.
This is why Coke is more loved than Crack.
That said, Coke is also a shit-tier drug and not worth the price.
