Im Canadian and the COVID situation was pretty gay up here. I cleaned up my following just a little bit in 2020-2021. In 2022, we had the trucker convoy happening on parliament hill to protest mandatory covid vaccines and vaccine passports. My dad is a trucker as well, I probably wouldnt have cared what my followers posted but I saw it one too many times where people were bashing the truckers for protesting. The last straw was seeing this girl who I met on campus (before Covid) studied with, exchanged notes etc, post about how evil and stupid people are for being against a vaccine. At that point I was like yea, idc, theres too many people who probably wouldnt like me anyways if this is how they think of the whole situation. During covid I was super blackpilled and hated everything too so Im sure that also factored in. It was also a stressful time for me as I was still able to keep my OSAP (gov money) for my university, but the next semester coming up, all the classes were back to in person and I still didnt have a shot. I mean I ended up getting it that summer anyways so I could be in healthcare like I am now but yea thats the gist of my epic socmed purge.
