I know everyone here says that the girls who post their information here are just looking for attention, and while that's partially true in my case, I genuinely feel really lonely and want to have a real connection with someone. I honestly feel like every connection I've tried to have, and keep trying to have, with people has been fake and superficial. And honestly, I'm just tired of trying. I just want to meet someone who understands how horrible it feels to be this lonely, because I feel like that would be a kind of way to know the connection is real. I just want to have real friends... I won't post my information until I get some kind of approval about it... I'm not interested, and I don't think I'll ever be interested in a romantic relationship.

Yeah, I've really tried. That's why I ended up trying it here - because nothing else works. Every time I go somewhere new, I try to make friends, and if I'm lucky enough to succeed, we talk for about a week at most, and then they start ignoring me or acting distant, even when I show a lot of interest and try to make plans with them.

I can't find any hobbies or things that really interest me.
I work really hard at school and try to make friends. When I get too desperate, I even do their homework for them, help them study, or do similar things just so they pretend to like me and don't stop talking to me. And when they do stop talking to me, I try to take the initiative and make plans, but they ignore me or make excuses.
All the relationships I've had end up with the other person getting bored of me and choosing someone else, and that only makes me feel more alone, so I gave up in that aspect.
