Whenever I go there I tend to draw the attention of the "Paleoschizo", a kind of schizocow of the board who's a bit retarded and likes to argue with people on what is or isn't biologically possible. He's so degenerated at this point that he can't figure out in his head between "what is possible" and "what is feasible". Also the board is really slow and most of what anyone talks about is their pets these days. I doubt any selective breeding projects I'd do would be too well received, but I did get my first subscriber to my channel from that board whilst talking to a guy studying paleontology who really enjoyed my theory(s) and talking about the Ediacaran. Wish I had a way to contact him, it was fun talking with him.

Yeah, it's a sad state of affairs. I really do wonder why the higher ups are fine with them ruining everything for everyone else, but eh. My theories piss off more than him though, a lot of people in academia evidently really hate new ideas. It's another sad state of things, a lot of them seem incapable of extrapolating too, which is even more baffling for biology of all studies as extrapolation is very essential. I can certainly imagine that the more useful staff would've been spooked off from the hack. Conscientious people do tend to be more scared of society's disapproval, so it makes sense. Also the 15 minute timer was from me always browsing in incognito, it seems. Now it's only 2 minutes which is far better. I can understand the thinking behind it, to stop spammers. I honestly think the future of more anonymous image boards is gonna have to stem from anonymized accounts. It fights spammers and people posting illegal content but it does also put a bad taste in people's mouths to have something linked to a site where they're far more open to being candid. Nah, not an altchan. The problem with them is they're almost always even slower and they tend to get filled with the kinds of people who do routinely get ousted from places like 4chan. Sadly the other place I've found to post does have actual accounts and such.

Also you'd be surprised. Some people do have pretty weak bones, but your pelvis isn't really made to withstand sudden forces. If you run up and slam someone with something like a paddle then you're adding up all of that speed from your run into it. You can imagine the paddle being twice as fast as it slams and F = mass x acceleration and all. All of that said though, I do think I would want to go to a con at some point. Probably cosplaying as some character in a full suit of armor though. I doubt any con would let me bring in actual armor or swords though, which is unfortunate.

Something largely hollow with some special structure to it to allow for it to still be strong but also to reduce the strain and stresses put on it. You can make surprisingly strong objects that are mostly hollow if you use the right structures to it all.

Nah, I like being obscure. I tend to seclude myself away if I get too much attention, plus I dislike excessive praise. I got too much praise growing up and for all it amounted to I ended up growing into a disappointment. As far as plans, the whole idea was just to get my ideas out there before I died. Better to let it just live on in the aether of the net than to have it go with me to the grave.

For most normal people at least NEETs are just presumed to be lazy, degenerate or otherwise undesirable. My story for being a NEET isn't all that interesting either, I just gave up on life a lot earlier than most people. For the foam swords too you could probably give them a fiber glass shell, to match your idea. For model aircrafts and stuff they sell carbon fiber rods to use and a lot of those use foam. I've had ideas about making hybrid airships to be pseudo-satellites too. The idea behind a hybrid airship is that it uses lift gases like an airship but it has a more plane-like design to compensate for not being lighter than air. If you had one set to glide they could do it for a very long time, which is useful for that kind of application. I remember pic related, a hybrid airship, was being marketed as potentially giving people tours to the Arctic too.

I'll agree to disagree on being a disappointment. Had tons of people having high hopes for me as a kid since I was always seen as really bright and curious about the world. Fibre glass can be dangerous, but the way they use it is that the glass fibers are stuck in an epoxy. That way the epoxy stops it from snapping and the glass gives it some rigidity. Should be fine as long as I don't smack people with it B^). The bigger issues would be with me trying to apply it, I hear that fiber glass can be really itch-inducing and a pain to work with. Carbon fiber likewise when you want to use carbon fiber mesh and epoxy.

Glad you like the little solar plane too and the problem with airships and scale is that they actually become more capable at larger scales. Anything small is really weak compared to the bigger varieties because of the square-cube law( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Square%E2%80%93cube_law ). Essentially since the lifting force of the gases scales with its volume whilst the drag the plane experiences is a matter of its surface area then bigger airships will always be better at floating, so the hybrid airships will be too. No clue on their arctic tours, but if I had the freedom and money to do whatever I wanted then one of my dream houses is also just a giant hybrid airship that's nuclear powered and can stay up in the sky forever B^). Would be neat to see sky cruises be a thing again too, especially if the small-scale, modular nuclear reactors that are being hyped up actually deliver on a lot of what they promise. I remember one company designed theirs to be air cooled which makes it even more feasible for aircraft, although there were designs for a nuclear powered aircraft before. A major problem with nuclear powered aircraft though was the need for all of the shielding to keep your crew or cargo from being irradiated. For airships though you can make use of their massive size and the distance between the reactor and the crew to minimize the need for shielding because of the inverse-square law( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inverse-square_law ). Helium and hydrogen also are fairly good at slowing down neutrons. Anything closer to the mass of the neutron will steal more of its kinetic energy when it impacts it.
