I almost think I had a better opinion of women before these past few months of /soc/whoring, because at least then I naively believed they were also lonely and seeking affection and you just had to treat them with love and you'd eventually find someone. I think I'm generally pretty good at avoiding overcommitting to women. I've never been ghosted in a way that financially hurt me or been catfished in that way. It's always just a girl I get emotionally close to disappearing probably cuz she found someone else.

Women are spoilt for choice when it comes to finding company, a million fold since smart phones/social media hit the market. Also people are more likely to talk to someone while they're novel, we get bored fast especially online. I'm introverted and rarely feel the urge to speak to someone, if someone starts a conversation with me I can usually become very social but it is only direct family and 1 friend when it's not in person.
