I ended up chatting with another anon for a few hours about our gf with BPD troubles. I feel like it helped a lot.

How does one recover from a BPD discard?

Started cutting again. Since I covered my left arm with a big tattoo to hide the scars, I went for my right arm. And my right arm is a mess.
My forearm is almost entirely covered with cuts, all of it. The inside part and the outside part.
Apparently I have BPD, or so it said my current psychiatrist. It'd explain a lot of things so I think he might be right. But it makes me angry that I spent 5 years with it undetected and I had to suffer a hell of a fucking lot, almost killing myself a few times.
I'll end this post with a big fuck you to all of my colleagues at uni. Every single one of my cuts were made with those cunts in mind.

I'm sure I will with time. The first time she broke up with me I was basically bedridden for three days and barely ate that week, but I've been able to feed myself today, which is a good sign.

yeah. That is one part of that type of things that's always a bit upsetting. But important thing is if it's known and you're talking to someone, it's more of a step in the right direction than not knowing

agreed. Arc it covered really suited itself well to this type of thing as opposed to probably any other arc past or coming. Between this, Demon Slayer, and JJK, felt this got the most of being a movie.

I take it you finished edgerunners then? Game is pretty long, tons of content, so easy to get lost in. Core mechanics were enjoyable for me that I could do all the side stuff too pretty easily without getting bored

oh wow D: that is quite long you had it. I went to catholic school growing up with the strict hair policies, so i didn't grow it out except for a little bit after I went to uni

It depends on the thing you're suffering from, right anon? Since like BPD doesn't affect on 1 thing only.
But I'll give one thing I know you might be suffering from, it's that being aware of your suffering is already a big step into getting better, it might actually help with getting some peace even if things were chaotic inside.

problem with making money yourself is what can you do that makes enough money to live off yourself? Like I could try making something, but even if I'm skilled it's hard to make a living off of it (and I'm not skilled at all with anything crafty). So rather than deal with this, we go to businesses run by psychopaths and sell our souls since it's too hard to get by otherwise.

yeah for real. I feel like the space between Maine's death up until it heats to finale kinda lulls a bit though to me. But end hits hard and had satisfying and obviously upsetting moments.

it's a big game and side stuff is really quite enjoyable. Only thing I did not care for the nomad missions much, but it might just be I hated sections that pulled you away from the city proper
