Evolution tends to select against that. It's why we dont asexually reproduce clones of ourselves over and over. Its why we have males and females instead of being self fertilizing hermaphrodites.

There os nothing inherently morally wrong with it (because morality doesn't exist) but from even a purely physics/biological lens it's just counterproductive and ineffective.
