'Go explode normies' jokes are funny but people who unironically *hate* Public Displays of Affection like couples hugging on a train are evil. I've seen so many fucked up abusive relationships it fills me with so much warmth whenever I see a couple in their own little world, like it restores my faith in humanity. I don't care if people want to experience romance/PDA in public; that is totally normal. What is unsightly is when they try to take a "public stage" of sorts, and make the entire scene about themselves (think of more grand displays of affection shit). This applies to anyone being disruptive, including the drug addicts/thugs/etc you mentioned. Go on and hug, kiss, I don't give a fuck, but don't go overboard and treat everyone around you like NPCs.

I think it's only disruptive if they are uncooperative and intentionally try to obstruct and harass others, like shooing people away from public spaces to get a clear photo or blocking people from doing their job so they can 'have their moment'. Why should people have to stifle themselves because some rando feels left out and insecure about themselves? Like if people are making a big deal giving some gift in a hallway, just politely ask them to move aside and go on with the rest of your day. Why you gotta be so mad bro? Just smile for other peoples happiness and focus on making the most of your own life. Main character syndrome is weird but it's even weirder when people take personal offense to others being happy and start seething because they think it somehow makes them look like an NPC in comparison.

I don't get mad, but I find it disrespectful to take up space or demand attention for your special moment, whether directly or indirectly by nasty shit like grinding on and fondling each other. For me, it's not because I'd feel left out, but because much of it is shit you should be doing in a private setting or within a space you reserved, not hauling public traffic for your own personal needs/convenience. I never hear people bitching about normalfags exchanging gifts. In my view, as long as you aren't too loud, publicly preparing to fuck, or obstructing traffic, then it's usually fine, but a lot of people do not comprehend that, or worse, do not care. Life is not Disney movie; if people just play it cool, then most robots don't even give a shit.
