I used to NEET and now I have a pretty good job. I save well over half of my paychecks without even trying while my coworkers who have gfs/wives complain about money trouble.
I even heard a married coworker joke that escorts are cheaper than marriage and they don't age like wives do.
The reality is that women demand money and relationships are basically an expensive subscription service. So yes, you can't have a gf if you don't have a job, unless you're extremely good-looking and good in bed.
But I'd argue that even if you have a job, you shouldn't get into a relationship with a woman who clearly uses you as a walking wallet. At that point, you may as well just fuck another hooker every month or simply masturbate.

When women say they want a man with a job they mean a man who works as a doctor or a lawyer or in finance or some other high paid, respected profession.

With a min-wage job in a warehouse or supermarket or delivering parcels you're still very much in the realm of "men who may as well not exist" from the perspective of women. While I agree that being employed is better for the man himself than being NEET, it cannot be argued that graduating from a NEET to an entry level worker elevates you in the eyes of women.

I recently lost my job but that hasn't dissuaded a girl I'm seeing from wanting to date me.

I don't feel like being in a relationship though, too much work and I'd feel guilty for wasting the girl's time because I'm probably not going to get married.

I have no intention of getting a new job though, I've already saved up a ton of money from having a decent salary for over a decade and can probably live off the interest and when I was working, I would constantly be in a state of extreme rage dealing with the DEI and girlboss types.
