Video games are a medium, hardly even a singular activity. Games, movies, books, etc. can all be slop and they can all be profound works of art.

Someone who spends all their time playing Warzone is completely different from someone who plays Civ, factorio, KSP, DCS, or any other games that have a steep learning curve. It doesn't make sense to lump together someone who is chasing gay zebra skins for their CoD guns with someone who reads a 600 page manual to fly a fighter jet in a game

Same goes for women who read nothing but low quality smut, versus women who read timeless and culturally significant literature. Not all words printed on a page are created equal, just like not everything that shows up on a computer screen is created equal.

Maybe you just talked about it too much, any hobby can get tiresome to hear about if you're not personally into it just because it's a lot of information that you don't know what to do with. But that doesn't mean the hobby itself is unattractive.
Gardening, knitting/sewing, cooking, etc. are all timeless and super attractive hobbies for women to have in my opinion. I wish I were better at all of those myself and would love someone to share them with or learn from.

not really. For one thing, you can garden inside or with a window planter with almost no space, or just grow house plants. But also, in the high cost of living area I'm in many people just keep living at home so she might have a yard even if she can't afford to move out at all. And maybe she moves out and can't garden for a few years but that doesn't mean she wouldn't start again if we bought a house together. It's not as if gardening is a requirement, it's just an attractive hobby if she does have it.

For me, it's super hyper true, even about something I totally don't care about. If she's very interested, her passion makes her 100 times more attractive to me. Even video games and consuming media are enough; my sister only doomscrolls in all her free time, and this makes her annoying.
