The last time that I tried to non-anonymously socialize online discord didn't exist and people still used skype.

Skype is just discord but with only the DMs and Friend Group feature

I used to post a lot here when Discord was in its infancy, and a few years before. Then I switched mostly Discord in my late teens. Now I'm back here, because Discord is garbage now. Just like Reddit, once it got popular enough, a bunch of rules started to get enforced. I've lost like 4 accounts, simply for being part of "hate" servers. I never use Discord for public interactions anymore, only DMs and a personal friendgroup
