The carpet in my room (and the room itself) is getting dirty so I'm going to be cleaning tomorrow. Do anons here keep their room clean or chaotically messy?

It stays messy nearly 24/7. I'm too tired to clean it.

I'm usually like this as well but I eventually get tired of seeing the mess. Seeing things organized afterwards feels pretty good too.
>>83038942
I like helping out, but since it's your room, you should also clean it with me if I was going to come over.

I don't think I believe you when you say that.

Do you have any pictures? That sounds really cute. (Very unfortunate for your room though)

A bit of both. Gotta tidy up enough so there is space to move around and not trip over things or when getting out of bed, but it's pointless to keep it clean all the time because space is limited, stuff has to be moved around often and things get spilled on the floor daily.

Well, I hope your depression gets better someday. I can relate to this but it takes me months to start the cleaning.
>>83039518
Yeah tripping on something right after getting out of bed is terrible. Is your room big? Mine is pretty normal sized but there isn't much room to move around even when I clean it because of all the stuff in it.

My "room' is actually part of my parent's apartment living room. basically everything I own goes in the space between my bed and the wall, gotta pick up everything off the floor before I go to sleep, and got to put everything onto the bed if I want to stretch out or do some home exercise and stuff.

I know what you are..... I've been doing pretty good recently. I'm trying not to stress myself out by taking it easy when it comes to everything and it's been working. Have you done anything new since the last time we spoke?

Hey taonon. Do you keep the files in your PC organized too or do you only care about real life messes?

Oh, that makes a lot of sense then. Do you ever get woken up by them when they're moving around or are they careful to not disturb you?
Anonymous No.83039948 [Report] >>83040131
>>83039938
I wear earplugs to sleep, but when I do get woken up it's most often because of dogs barking. It's inhumane to raise a child in a fuckign apartment, and I imagine it's equally the case for dogs being confined to the apartment when not being taken for a walk, but also annoying and disruptive to people living around them.

I'm currently trying to get myself into some hygienic habits because if Ilet myself go, I could easily stop showering and never clean my place at all.
I had my neckbeard version of the "smoker staring at his cigarette" moment when I got in the train and when sitting down, the people on the close seats were visibly bothered because I must have smelled like sweat or what have you.
I'm starting with body hygiene first and I'll work towards cleaning after that.
So far I'm starting to really get into the habit of washing my hands when coming home, brushing my teeth in the morning, daily evening showers, etc.
I'm sure it's going to be the very bare minimum for most but these are habits I've never grown so better late than never I guess.

>>83039938
Well it's just me and my mom, plus the dogs. It's good that you're taking it easy, but what all do you think I am? Some kind of sinister person, huh? Not too much new since we last spoke. I did have some frustrations with sawing some boards with a rusty, dull pruning saw. Need to do more work on that later too. Back to posting kigus instead of dolls though?

>dogs barking
I HATE it when people let their dog bark for hours on end. There was a thread about this a few days ago and it brought up all my memories of being sleep deprived because of dogs. What kind of earplugs do you wear? I've never worn any before but I assume they would constantly fall out of your ears if you move around in your sleep.
>>83039949
I would honestly consider you more on the clean side than the messy side. If you don't have one, the Swiffer duster is actually really good. The main downside is it's probably overpriced.
>>83039980
One step at a time my friend. It's good that you became more conscious of your hygiene. You'll also look a lot better when you make sure that you're clean so that's a nice bonus. Make sure to wash your hands before eating too. While it is the bare minimum for a lot of people, what matters is that you're actually taking steps to work on it.
>>83040075
Naw, I just imagine you as the CEO of biology. I'm sure that you're used to handling it by now but be careful not to injure yourself with that saw. Whenever I see tools like that I always imagine how gruesome it would be to get into an accident with them.

also nah I just felt like posting more kigus tonight. I did find this Teto doll on twitter 2 hours ago though so here's that.

Yeah, I suppose I just have really high standards for what I consider clean. Growing up with a clean freak mother, has walked my perspective quite a bit on what is clean and what is dirty, i suppose.

CEO of biology? Well, I do wish to be a master of it someday B^). One day I'll be able to tinker with living matter as I please, but for now I'm just a NEET here. As far as the saw and all, I'm pretty hardy and used to it. I've felled a few full on trees with a pruning saw no less. I make due with what I have. Also Teto is my favorite vocaloid voice, nice.

Find anything neat to watch lately? In the mean time, some music. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZphKGdrSN4c

Generic foam earplugs, twisted tight and pushed in deep so they expand to block my whole ear opening. Ironically the ones labeled as for sleep suck ass because the fronts are too narrow and they just fall out. The ones shaped like little bullets work if you know how to tweak them and insert carefully for max nosie blocking.

>>83040218
When you say you felled a few trees, how thick of a tree are we talking? Ones with a stump that you could sit on comfortably? or one of the thinner ones that are still sturdy? I'm not sure if I have a total favorite, but I also really like Teto's voice. I listened to Tetoris for the first time yesterday morning and it's been on loop since then. I haven't watched anything new recently but I've been rewatching a lot of older videos from Indeimaus and Jreg.

They were pretty big. One was an old grapefruit tree and I could wrap my arms around it and only have like 4-5 inches of extra arm length. The other was a fully grown sable palm, but those are way easier to cut through since palm wood is softer. Also, I see. I haven't watched Jreg in forever and a half, never seen Indeimaus either. I did get into watching some Kruggsmash for his DF content and I'm thinking about rewatching some anime.

Look Outside was fun to watch a stream on before, it has some nice OST too.
>"so please let me inside you"

Hey thanks dude, I try not to. But i sometimes get weirdly anxious. If things aren't absolutely perfectly clean. When I have friends around.

Did you make stuff out of the wood afterwards? I haven't been completely up to date with Jreg's new videos but his stuff is still pretty good. I preferred the unhinged and irony drenched videos from his last arc but the current one is not bad. I highly recommend watching Indeimaus if you like watching people make jokes while playing horror games. I've been watching him for like 7 years now and his videos are still bangers. I see that the person you're talking about made a path of achra video so I think I'll watch that now. I don't know much about Dwarf Fortress outside of the funny sseth video but I'll take a peek at it. Have you ever watched Grand Blue Dreaming? It's one of the funniest anime I've ever seen in my life.

Nah, I was just clearing it all out for my grandpa. He lacked a proper axe or anything either so the rest of the cutting was also a pain but I got it all done. I'll have to check out Indeimaus and Jreg again sometime. Kruggsmash did apparently love PoA quite a bit and also for DF it's pretty calming for his stuff. He mostly just tells little stories and tries to do some challenges, it feels like watching some kind of cartoon in the past, in some way. I haven't seen Grand Blue Dreaming, it doesn't sound like a comedy -- what's it about?

Also, I see. Yugica is odd in his songs and they vary a lot, but I also love that song too B^). Also you're in the same timezone as me then. I almost figured you were a timezone back too. If you were a NEET then I imagine you'd prefer to be awake at only the night like I am, but my sleep schedule always drifts anyhow. I like it when there's less people on or around, it's quieter and calmer.

Grand Blue Dreaming is 10000% a comedy. It's about the MC starting off his college life while living with his uncle. He basically gets forced into joining the diving club there and is put through insanely dumb situations from then onwards. I'm not sure how to make it sound good but it's worth the watch.
>I like it when there's less people on or around, it's quieter and calmer.
Same here. The night is so good when you want to just relax and have some peace, but I also get more optimistic and happy at night so it's great. The main downside is that when I wake up in the afternoon it feels like all my time is gone (even though it isn't)
>>83040625
>everything has it's place and folder and it has to be organized. i guess it's weird
It's not that weird. It means that you can find everything you want pretty much instantly so that's good. I need to do this with my own files. By the way, do you have Hu Tao as your wallpaper on your PC? I'm just curious.

Although I lack the illusion of my time all being gone, at this point that's when the sun rises B'^). >Well I do love the ocean.
It doesn't really focus on the diving part that much but I hope you enjoy it regardless.
>I imagine people stress you out in general?
Generally speaking, yeah. I don't hate people, but dealing with most people is incredibly draining for me. Luckily, that draining effect is lowered by a lot when I communicate through text like this.
>A devious slime.
A slimy rapscallion.

I'm going to go sleep now since the wave of tiredness has hit me. I passed out while staying up in my Halloween thread so I wasn't able to say anything but thanks for the replies anons. Hopefully I see you guys again, whenever it'll be. (Hopefully not at 2-6 AM)

I'm sure I'll still enjoy it despite the lack of focus on the seas and diving itself. Also it sounds like you're just like me in that regard, although I get very tense around others. I can never relax. This is always much better. Have another slimy rapscallion. This one lives in mud in the North Sea! It's another giant amoeba too!

Sleep well, stay safe and all too.

through the work week nothing is cleaned. absolutely nothing. my prep is done on the weekend. in a way, i kind of work 7 days a week, i'm always either at the shop or working at the apartment to get shit cleaned up and ready for the next work week.

every week, it's dishes and kitchen cleanup. i don't make many dishes at all through the week, maybe one or two mostly clean dishes a day, so i don't give a shit if they sit in the sink 4 days. i also sweep up. every other week, it's laundry and full house cleaning. i have a bunch of work clothes so i kind of specced into an every other laundry cycles, saves a bunch of money.

it's unpleasant but makes sense. i have maybe a half hour/hour when i wake up, i'm not spending it on work. when i get home, it's 3:30am, too early to do much of anything except the bare minimum to feed and clean myself. 10 hour shifts overnight are far from ideal
Anonymous No.83040983 [Report]
Mine is quite dusty, and I get a lot of spiders and webs, but I don't leave food rotting around or trash or stuff like that.
No one comes over and I'm mostly totally unbothered by dust. And cleaning is quite tedious because of unwieldy furniture and lots of objects that need moving.
My walls have also gone unpainted for too long and my windows are pretty dirty.
I wish I wasn't such a pig but cleaning is so tedious and unrewarding and there is always something more urgent or more fun to do. And it feels like even when I clean my room, the dust comes back nearly immediately.
