Democrats have kicked state rights with their feet for decades. We had that discussion already. We have precedents.
If the federal government demands "desegregation" and individual states don't like that, the population in those states doesn't like that and they protest, that doesn't matter. The federal government can send in the national guard and enforce desegregation.
On things that are decided on a federal level for all states, individual states optinion doesn't matter.
Those are the rules we now play by.
Just because republicans were initially the party that advocated for more state rights, you can't really blame them or call them hypocrites when they use the same weapons and tactics that have been used against them for decades.
Especially if its to REVERSE changes that happened over the last few decades that republicans don't like, like kicking out the Illegals.
The US had a federal election, the newly appointed federal government decided that illegals need to be deported.
So they should send ICE and arrest them and deport them.
If protestors block ICE, send in the troops to supress them.
If the governors or majors or whatever try to cockblock the federal officers enforcing federal law, you send in the troops to their office, arrest that governor/major and charge them with fucking sedition.
