that movie is the equivalent of watching colourful paint dry, its painfully boring and is only good because of its use of aesthetic

i hate that movie purely because when it comes to drug addiction its the most sensationalised way you could present it and the most stereotypical, trainspotting is a vastly superior movie in every regard, especially when it comes to the depiction of addicts and their affect on the people/enviroment around them

I don't think it is particularly aesthetics driven, it's just a realistic bleak depiction of buffalo

Fellow Ricci fan? Did you see the movie where she dates the disabled boy? It's such a good romance.

the aesthetics is the only thing carrying that movie yes, the aesthetics of living in running down buffalo, thats my point, the story is bland and is just a generic "she can fix me!" plotline theres nothing introspective about it, it doesnt make you think, you dont learn any real substance about the characters beyond vincent and his fucked family, the only real reason people like this movie is because the actors look good and the settings are very carefully coordinated, vincent is a good set designer/scouter but hes not a good movie writer and I wish people would realise this

and u know what i wouldnt even hate vincent's work nearly half as much if all of his movies werent just a rehash of the exact same "she can fix me" plotline, its a damn shame he has a good eye for aesthetics

NTA
He's a better actor than director/writer. He was really good in Freeway II as sister Gomez. He's such a piece of shit though, I hate him as a person.

I'm sorry anon, but the experience you're describing is chad-only. A woman is likely to mock and humiliate you if you tell her about your problems. She will also share that info with others so they call all laugh at you.

I'm not sure what they thinka bout what things they think about just ask them you want to be my breeder? Others you haven't asked would be offended. Sometimes you gotta play it as it goes

>that anon didn't want to talk about Ricci's films with me
