this works for cis women because they naturally have low androgens in the first place, and not much body hair. So a cis woman with a bit too much testosterone can take estrogen or progesterone and lower their testosterone, to reduce body hair
a man who takes progesterone will have their testosterone reduced a bit, but you would have to take a ton of progesterone to suppress your testosterone to cis woman levels. And unless you go down to cis woman levels, it's not going to have much effect on your body hair. If you want less body hair as a man, hormones are going to have really weak effects. Better to just get laser hair removal
