My sister spent her teens and early twenties jumping from one 6'5 abusive boyfriend to another. Several of them showed up at my parents' house (where she didn't live) to threaten us, vandalise the house, et cetera. It was quite revealing as a teenage boy to watch unfold.

I have a younger sister and we mostly got along growing up. We were even friends enough to play together, various make believe games and badminton in the backyard and stuff.
We don't see each other often these days but when we do we get along well enough.
My parents forced her to do her part in the house, forced accountability on both of us at a young age.
