I'm not sure that I agree with that, given the right use case for the right artificial intelligence, and LLMs are arguably unintelligent, and so whether today's "AI" solutions are even actually AI is under question. Just because something uses a neural net doesn't make it AI.

I've posted this before but a lot of AI companies are just Indians. Don't believe me? Look it up. Even Microsoft was doing that shit. I don't care technically about how "effective" AI is, I'm more concerned about the impact specifically regarding to the environment. I doubt I could "build" one. The extent of my coding knowledge is playing around with CSS and messing with my game files. I mean I can program and run a .cmd injector but that's pretty basic shit too.

For me, a real AI uses traceable, first-order logic. There are algorithms for transforming facts into data, and so there's no reason that a real AI couldn't just be a database, no LLM required, though it's a nice-to-have so that you aren't writing database queries yourself.

Made me chuckle. The last time I "programmed" anything it was for a friend's podcast, and god that was almost a decade ago, I don't know. Any modern conversation would fly over my head. Nice quads
