eh its not that straightforward
overall time spent on doing hair stuff, long hair girls probably edge it unless we are talking like every few weeks, salon visits do take up a lot of the day when it happens
but there are days where its a hell of a lot easier for a woman with medium/long hair to just keep it up in a bun/braid all day, the equivalent for short hair is wearing a hat
for money spent? that is probably about even, even buying a bunch of oils, protecting stuff, accessories (extra) shampoo and conditioner, the cost of extra salon visits are wayy way more than all of that
its difficult to make a like for like comparison, because women can lead very different lives with and without long hair
