hot take but honestly, synthv was probably the worst thing to happen to teto in a while.
like don't get me wrong, an ai voice bank is cool, and it did open up her content to a whole bunch of new people, both listeners and creators.
but still, before with utau you at least had to KINDA know what you were doing to even get the damn program to work, let alone have a usable song, so a lot of things were either at least decent quality, or a copypaste of something already decent quality, which is still okay.
but with the ai voice bank? you kind of just type things, place notes, maybe adjust a few knobs, and boom. song. it's definitely better than chicken scratch, but iunno, it's lower effort and doesn't sound as nice.
feels like because it's easier to make songs for teto now, there's less drive to... make it as good as can be, you know?
