Is making big production about your birthday something that should be reserved only for women?
My coworker got mad at me for not telling her when my birthday was.
She doesn't understand that guys don't give a fuck about that stuff. I would never in a million years expect my guy friends to give me gifts or anything, or even fucking remember what day it is. It's just not something we really care about.

I forgot when my birthday is, although most people like to be nice and celebrate people's birthdays.

Especially if they are friends, the people who are most interested in you to create better bonds usually do that, although I have no real idea.
