i been off and on playing persona 5. i got further on ps4, but i decided to buy it along with some other games on steam recently. got ff16, god of war ragnarok, dragon quest 11, and resi 4 remake. thinking of getting some others but not sure what to pick. out of them have returnal, dragon ball sparking zero, or sonic shadow generations (sucy game) thinking of. leaning towards returnal because i like and miss housemarque arcade games. wish rather they had resogun or nex machina on pc. very eye-catching defender and robotron-inspired games. hearing returnal has some stuttering on pc, wonder how my system will play with it. what have u been playing?

blogging bit rn but just past half hour was thinking to myself it's ironic that introverted people like nerds you'd think would be less inclined to be around people even online. but it's like they end up being more overly social than I think even normal people. addicted to posting on twitter, discord, reddit, and 4chan, getting you's, making fanart being in online communities, meme-sharing. almost uncannily being real addicted to being around people. just online vs maybe in-person.

i was seeing it in myself and going like "damn, why am I so drawn to just looking at people, absorbing all this pointless social stuff like it's entertainment. i was looking at hazbin hotel stuff on youtube and some other indie animation stuff and I was thinking almost jealously like damn why are things like this so popular. they get large fandoms that get so absorbed in just the social aspect, seeing the various characters interact and have expressive animated reactions. i sound like an alien just describing what people like, but it's like APOCALYPTIC. that hazbin takes place in hell is ironically fitting. i haven't really followed vivzie's stuff since I saw hazbin when it first came out.

I say it's apocalyptic though, this onlineheavy social stuff, because it feels like something's off. like everything is supposed to be entertaining. i just want to skip to the funny part, make me laugh, do something funny or cute or appealing in an ideal way. i want my picture-perfect social interactions. and i edit everything I see and do to set that up for myself. have this crowd, and this lane that I follow and every day it's just more social interaction content. it's like a tv-ification of life. longrunning sitcom. I think back every now and then to compare myself, how i used to be around 2008 to 2010 on the internet. I didn't participate in any communities. I just looked up things I was interested in.

when im on 4chan now it's like it's the reverse. people don't enjoy the things in themselves. they're centered around sharing in online communities and social media. the social media comes first. maybe it comes across that way because i'm looking at what people are saying about things on 4chan. but it's like for a lot of people, content just comes out as a means to be shared. like the sharing aspect is the part that matters. maybe im just hating because im jealous and wish i could make something popular that was shared a bunch. but i also kind of hate it. like people just want a character that they can idealize with. at this point in my life i don't see the appeal in it. im very antisocial. or i want to be truly antisocial. to unplug from looking at people so much. because even any of the things im interested in, it's involving people some way or another. people people people people. pointless chatter. for people like you and me (i can tell you're much of an outsider-looking-in, curious thinkerly lonesman type like me) we want more. want out of the pointless chatter. we just silently feel on each other when we want the comfort. almost animalistic versus trying to have a dialogue script and entertain each other.
