did you only read the wiki page of the nutty putty cave accident? because there's also another website or blog dedicated to it where one of the rescuers describes their attempts to save the guy in detail, including actual photos of the cave taken by her. if you're really interested, I suggest you find that blog page of hers and read both her account of the events and the comments down below because one of the comments mentions the facts I talked about earlier โ that guy was clearly pushed in that position he wouldn't be able to get out of by someone else. all of it is too tragic and unbearable. the only death worse than this kind of slow, hanging upside down cave death is one you don't bring on to yourself. at least people that go cave exploring aren't forced to do that and they are aware that if they die, they can only blame themselves. but what about people that are cautious and don't want to die and still die horribly? that's worse
