Your claim that Israel isn't a country is flawed, since the only thing that makes a country a country is international recognition, which Israel assuredly has.
As to your comments about Judaism, most Jews aren't orthodox, and their only practice of Judaism is observing a few customs (bar mitzvah, holidays, kiddush, sheeva, etc)
And last of all, saying Israel sows death and destruction when you live in one of the biggest purveyors of human misery in the last 70 years is really laughable.
