Yeah but fanart being used for profit isn't fair use of the madoka character either, it's also a grey area because it's so transformative and could be argued to be her own ip, if that's the case I don't know if the original drawer or burypink would need to be involved? either way they definitely aren't allowed to use our individual OC to promote the coin even if it's fanart, you have the copyright to any work you make just not the IP, so any anon who wants to claim OCs being used for advertising could report them using the linked method. This should at least reduce them to posting aislop like before and not using our OC.

dubs I think fair use is really simple though, as soon as money gets involved you have to own/license the ip to use it or for it to be public domain. I don't think bury can be considered public domain for multiple reasons, both the use of the copyrighted madoka character and the ip rights of the burypink creator. People just get away with this all the time mostly from companies being too big to care/like the free publicity.
