I'm sorry to say this but i tried it and it was exactly like Windows
>install fedora from USB stick
>installation doesn't give me a chance to set a root password or create a user
>instead, after installation, there's a wizard
>wizard asks me if i want telemetry (??)
>crashes after a certain step
>can't press Ctrl+Alt+T to open terminal
>can press Ctrl+Alt+F3 to switch to TTY, but root account is locked (I never got a chance to set it up)

Arch and Debian are both based, but Fedora kind of smells like dog eggs. I'll stick with Arch thanks.
