Domesticated cats want to be indoors. You can leave the door open with some cats and they'll never leave the house.

Heh sadly my two cats really enjoyed going out to hang in the closeby park, i could feel their boredom and need to go out, and i indulged, even tho it caused me a lot of anxiety, even because some fucking sack of garbage left poisoned treats, killing a couple of cats from the colony i had near home.
Luckily i moved into a flat, now they have their small garden on the balcony, ans sometimes i let them go in the stairing room, i have a couple of plants from the old house there, probably they can still smell that now past ambient, i wonder how they feel about it.
