The paladin should drink it and then launch their infinitesimal body into the spiker's mouth, once inhaled the paladin should enter the bloodstream and ride it towards brain, after crawling through the blood-brain barrier the paladin must begin attacking the proteins of the brain by misfolding them. These misfolded proteins will have a cascade effect throughout the spiker's life as they replicate and impede the function of healthy proteins resulting in early-onset neurodegenerative diseases.
