A dumb rock we could harvest resources from. It's coal, so using nazi coal to liquid tech you can make starship fuel

I'm operating on cartoon logic, but imagine how insanely cozy it would to pitch a tent and camp on an asteroid; hurtling through space, gazing upon the stars in your sleeping bag as the cosmos surrounds you.

Stars are alive in a similar sense to biologic organisms. They are born and die all the time, undergo changes of their bodies as they age. They require fuel to burn in order to stay alive, just as we do. They expel products of their stellar metabolism, just as life does.
Life consists of materials first created in stars. Galaxies also are alive, brimming with various processes shaping their existence and evolution. Galaxies are like vast societies of stars and what they expel into space.
The space itself isn't ever truly empty, governed by laws we're just starting to discover.
Taking all of this into account, it's not that far-fetched to believe abiotic origin of life.

There's no gravity holding you down so it'd be like cliff-side camping, where you attach your bag/tent to the side of the cliff and sleep suspended over nothing. Doesn't sound comfy to me.

Then perhaps the ancients were right for worshiping the Sun.

Anyway I'm not gonna say I agree with you, but also I don't disagree.
There's just too little information.

The vast majority of the universe is dark energy/matter, it's just like saying we don't know shit.

And from the 5% that we do know exists, we don't even understand most of this either.

And who is to say there isn't even more universe that's not baryonic matter, or dark matter but something else entirely we don't even know don't know?

it could be teeming with life, just outside our senses.
all science is based on our senses and the extension of these senses via tools.
what if stuff exists that we just can't perceive or interact with?
it's highly probable.
