Why haven't we cured aging yet? We've had science for half a millennium this is bullshit

There's literally dozens of reasons for aging at least and we have only started to make staggering progress in terms of actual longevity and health research in the last, like 10 years.

We have a long way to go, but as long as we take care of ourselves and maintain peak health throughout our lives to the best of our ability we have plenty more time.

Btw look into Bryan Johnson if you want a good starting place (really probably the best starting place you can find). He's spent his $200 million fortune on being a health and longevity lab rat. He's basically tried everything available and is discovering cutting-edge treatments and supplements practically weekly, so look into him.

Best of luck on immortality, OP. I hope to see you alive in the coming centuries and beyond.

Why do you want to live eternally in first place? That totally beats the purpose of life.

Name me one person doing better than Bryan Johnson and I'll look into it. Oh wait, you can't, and you don't have the motivation to work even a tenth as hard as he does to benefit anybody because you resent your own existence.

Ignore the peanut gallery, OP. Bryan Johnson is a fantastic starting point. Just look deeply into his regiments and the details of what he does. Also look around other individuals and experts in the field of longevity research. That'll set you on a good path.

Anon, this "there are many reasons" is most likely because of the fact that we cannot explain how aging worked, yet.
There are different ideas, ideologies...

Like, i the 17 century, you has bad many reasons for many physical phenomon. After that, they build a consensus.

>That totally beats the purpose of life.

Ideology. Aging is a biological process and can be treaten as such.
There are no rational reasons to see it as a metaphysical gibberish.
