>>16706293It's not a typical experience, caused by substances or some mental dreaming, illusions, idk, it's raw and intense, and happens when, as I think, the brain after a short sleep fails to produce hormones that keep everyone in sort of state of "existential anesthesia", when everything you experience and see around is normal and habitual, things are things, room is room, you are you, etc. But in this case everything that is your well known boring reality appears in its raw state, when nothing is usual, but everything is unknown and strange. Just imagine a consciousness is suddenly put into reality which it never saw or knew. It's not a delusional state, you actually feel and see the unimaginable chaos of surrounding world. Questions like Where am I, what am I, what is this place, what are these things, etc, hit the core of consciousness, and you feel yourself like you're in infinite abstract void. Chair is chair for you, right? But can you explain and understand what is a chair if you're 1 second born on a piece of rock flying in abyss? Even now can you explain what is a chair at least from a starting point of let's say, singularity breaking into four fundamental forces? What is beyond that knowledge? What is a chair in its core basic naure of appearance and existence? And what is reality, where are you, what are you?
