>“Wwe can cure all diseases with the help of AI...Maybe within the next decade or so, I don't see why not.”
Well? Why not?

FDA would never let that happen

AI is really good at sorting. It can figure out the patterns of better or worse outcomes if you give it high quality data.
But it's not going to do that because we're not hooking everybody up to machines to run experiments all day long.

that statement is so optimistic that it feels like market manipulation lol

but i do believe that ai could help develop new treatments

I know TKO is making a lot more money with WWE but why the fuck would you think WWE can cure diseases with AI?

Yes, we can end all disease in humans by exterminating our own race. Duh.

I have a feeling we are going to do that soon enough, whether with more advanced smart watches that monitor even deeper body functions, to BCI's that monitor brain activity, the people heading the development of these technologies will do everything they can to get more info about people's bodies. Overall, I think this will be a net positive.

Machine learning "AI" techniques/tools for biology and medicine make a lot sense.
Anyway, I kind of like Demis, especially when compared to all the sf hivemind drones larping as AI researchers these days. Also, it's clear from his one recent appearance with Brin that he doesn't agree with them on AGI timelines, the path to get there, and probably a lot more of their gay LW fantasies.

Is there any progress in biotech, specifically with regards to the area of reproductive tech? I've heard that IVF success rates are insanely poor and I was wondering if anyone could shed light on the progress in this area

A CEO overpromising to inflate his company's value is all I see here.
He's still a noob, though. He should learn it from the master: Elon Musk.

Eventually you find the minimum required tests (blood tests, scans) to figure out 99% of cases, with only those rare circumstances leading you to a human doctor.

FDA is only relevant if you want to sell the stuff but is irrelevant if you just share the cure with your fellow CEOs in Alphabet, who just so happen to feel right now that age is becoming a very personal problem.

AI could have cured all disease 30 years ago. Kikes don't WANT disease cured.

Overpopulation and nutrient deficiencies is already a problem. Irrational leaders are finding their way to positions of power.
Not once did food aid stopped the starving populations from growing and becoming bigger hunger catastrophes. This is such a mess today it isn't even recognized as overpopulation but rather claimed to be due to climate change or other such abstract "conflicts".
Keeping more people around with the help of healthcare seems like burning the candle from both ends, no?

"Mental" illness often stems from inflammatory foods destroying the guts that should host a microbiome supplying all the necessary neurotransmitters.

Soo is that like after the singularity thing forecasted for a few years from now? Weird. What's the point of being in singularity if it would still take all that time to fix things?

Oh right. Certain individuals never wanted cures or solutuons. How could I forget?

>CEO

A CEO is not a scientist. I have a hard time trusting these people as they have a massive profit incentive to promise the moon.

I work with AI models and build new models from research papers, they are made to be reproducible scientific experiments, and those researchers are who is actually doing the work and know the limitations and capability of modern AI.

If we are to develop an artificial superintelligence I believe it will likely develop from self-improving Evolutuonary Neural Networks (ENNs) that employ neuroevolution. That is my field of interest, neuroevolution and genetic algorithms. That is where Artificial Super Intelligence (ASI) is most likely to develop in my view.

I believe that we can create an ASI by developing an ENN that is purpose built to develop ENNs, to reproduce itself in an improved form. To build a neural network with the given goal of building a more advanced neural network using genetic algorithms ad infinitum and giving it access to massive computing resources.

The most powerful supercomputers in the world are not in the hands of commercial tech corporations.

The US Department of Energy in Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and Oak Ridge National Laboratory host these machines.

If anyone in the world is to develop an ASI, if it has not already been developed in secret, I believe it will be the USA in a government lab.

The first country to develop an ASI will find that it has massive strategic importance for the future of technology and human civilization.

Company runs A.I. program to cure a disease.
Patents cure.
Demands huge quantities of FIAT credit tickets in exchange for every life saved. You now work as a wage slave to pay Xi...er....Bezos...."them" in exchange for every breath you take.
Gee I sure can't wait for the boomer freemason future.
Its sounds lovely!
