my only knowledge of historical european Jews is WW2 documentaries which seem to imply most "run-of-the-mill" Jews used to be tradesmen. why did they latch onto the American collegiate education system and never let go?

In most of northern and central Europe, Jews were forbidden from land ownership and being in guilds. Well, parts of that I'm aware of. But it seems as though past 1920 or so, ALL mainstream scientists are Jewish. And they all passed through American/Western colleges of course to get their doctorates.
Whereas Eastern European Jewry seemed more similar to gentiles in lifestyle. Is it because their population was so high they could no longer practice the sort of "eugenics" you speak of? Or were they always different than Western Jews?

Please don't hate yourself. It makes me sad to see someone hate themselves. As a Muslim, I am thankful to Jews for preserving the Torah for thousands of years. Self-hate is not the way, prayer and self-respect is important. I am into computer science mysef, all you need is a computer and an internet connection to get started.

Dumb propaganda. The average jew was not a moneylender but a half starved peasant in a jewish village, living mostly from charity from some of the wealthy jews. You are not a rothschild, your ancestors lived in mud huts in rural poland.
Few jews struck gold as tax farmers, your ancestors didnt have any money to lend and they did farm, because jews had land. Where the fuck do you think jews lived? In dirt, you can farm that

I grew up secular reform so I get it. I'm looking to become a perfusionist. There are dozens of jobs in medical science that don't involve running a lab or going to med school. Your family will accept anything in medicine because it's medicine. You could always just be an attorney if you're that bad at labwork.

Bullcrap, jews in Poland and Ukraine were literally put in charge of grain mills and distilleries because thats how taxes were charged. Peasants would give their grain to be milled, they would then be given back a reduced amount of flour. The difference was the tax.

If it helps: being honest and having integrity has cost me my job, several times over. Yet when I look back at those who kept their jobs, their lot was in the end not much better. Over time, and for all the obstacles I met, I have still improved my position.
Since I am not Jewish I am not sure what your culture states about this, but around here we say that fate catches up with everyone. And it is interesting to note many old and ancient cultures had a clear concept about fate and its inescapability.
So be the man in the arena, expect crushing defeat, knowing you can still get back up.
