All copes for not being rich, beautiful, powerful, skilled, talented and 'mired. Depression is just your brain noticing that you're relatively worthless and useless and unwanted with little opportunity to change and looking at massive effort for little reward. Of course it's just going to conserve your energy and make you isolate yourself to survive the onslaught of being mogged.

Except for women my life isn't that bad. I think my brain is just fucked. I feel more joy from even just taking something simple like l-theanine, than I felt after e.g. graduating college. And if I ingest something stronger, like even just a glass of wine, it feels 10 times better than any achievement, and literally better than any sex I had (long time ago)

There is no singular way to treat depression as it is a very complicated neurological disorder. I also don't approve of anons giving single line, end-all be-all "advice" on how to "cure" depression here, as it is medical advice.
Another consideration is that our society as it is structured currently greatly contributes to feelings of dread and despair. As such it is not very clear (to me at least) how you would differentiate between rightfully feeling despair at the way our society is rapidly changing for the worse for the absolute majority of people, and actually having the neurological disorder we call "depression".
