Very high IQ is correlated with a higher incidence of mental disorders. This isn't particularly surprising given than a very high IQ is an anomaly by itself, so it stands to reason one anomaly can be tied to others. Not all mental disorders are necessarily detrimental to the individual, either. Antisocial personality disorder for example is often very beneficial to the psychopath, just not everyone else they take advantage of. Schizoids can leave society and be just fine.

99.9% of criminals are not psychos. Psychos typically recognize that working within the system is typically the best choice and in their best interest. Most intelligent people are not in a position where the risk associated with crime is worth the potential benefit. When it is, they obviously don't get caught often.
