Anons help me choose math, science and other science related /diy/ books for my kid. He is 3 years old right now. I want to go for the homeschooling path for my kid. For that i need to create a robust and holistic curriculum encompassing math, science, classics, grammar and other practical stuff. I got the classics covered from /lit/ and i want help from you guys to choose science and maths tutorials. So what books you suggest for the above range of ages?

If you couldn’t figure out how to google this book, navigate to amazon.de page or something similar, and then google the author’s name, should you really homeschool your kid?
You sound retarded.
The English translation is also a classic btw.

There’s also Scientific American’s The Amateur Scientist column. They should be archived somewhere on the internet.

Go play with him faggot, build shit with him, cook with him, get him a sibling. Show him videos of others building shit, show him why and how. Where did they get that information, how do we get it? Show him natural phenomena, get him a microscope, let him explore. Show him how things are made. Ask him questions, compete with him. Show him the dangers of things.

This. Every single person I know who was homeschooled was socially bizarre and ostracized and never did well in life.

hard agree. Homeschool is for serious OCD helicopter parents. Even when done right your child will still be socially retarded. If you are too poor to send the kid to a good private school you shouldn't be homeschooling your child just to turn out like you

I dunno anything about that, but I just want to say that I'm bitter that my mother, who was a music teacher, never taught me music as a young child. As an adult, I like music, but I know I'll never be anything more than a dabbler, since I didn't start young enough.

are the subjects you should cover in which grades. if you're too retarded to pick out your own textbooks, maybe consider sending him to a real school.

He will be attending a club of home schooling kids. It will hold competitions, plays, games and whatnot. So yeah I'm not that much concerned about the socializing part.
