Constant denigration of men by the general culture combined with the fact that men are mainly motivated to achieve things in life for their wife and offspring, otherwise there's no reason to not just do the bare minimum and/or NEET out

This cancels out, but the effects of lot of young men not having a job is simply destroying men's core value system. A man's job is to provide. A man without a job is a dead end. When women take over job from women. A man is left without a place in society. Especially when women still demand men provide for them.

Working is not respected. NEETing isn't, either. But at least you don't have to slave away. In my opinion, there's more dignity in NEETing than in waging, since you're at least not letting yourself be exploited.

The younger cohort has been punished to correct for the skew in the older cohort.
Since women can't math, they can't see through the aggregate stats and they still have a victim complex and haven't hit the brakes yet even though shit has been fine since the 00's.
