Ten is not divisible by 3. Using it as the base of a number system is Luciferian, because it locks humans in a finite realm of limited possibilities.

1x2x3x4x5x6x7x8x9x10 = 3,628,800
Our number system should be based on 3,628,800. This would allow us to create any geometric shape allowed in this universe.

I prefer to base it on Zero

what about 2x3x5x7? keep the factors prime

the babylonians only used base 60 because it made calculating interest rates easier they allowed the other 5 days a year as like a festival or something

What happens if you make pi = 1?
Anonymous No.16738831
>>16738753
yes that's all you need to do to make the relevant fractions representable as floating point
210 and 3,628,800 have the same prime factors so nothing is gained by making it ridiculously big

This seems weird to any modern math user but it really shouldn't. It's where math breaks away from the real.

If you aren't familiar with the p^2 = m/n proof you don't understand math.

You're in Alabama

You already just did that for convenience and made 3.1415... into 1 pi, math generally uses 1 π for even further simplification down to a single digit.

Good news, modulo and prime bases were discovered since the dark ages.
No shitty decimal approximation here :

[math]1/3_{base10}=0.333..._{base10}[/math]
[math]1/3_{base10}=0.1_{base3}[/math]
[math]10_{base10}*1/3_{base10}=101_{base3}*0.1_{base3}[/math]
[math]10/3_{base10}=10.1_{base3}[/math]

math tags are shit and have always been shit as far I remember. Use only a single block in a post.

We should refer to numbers exclusively using their prime factorisations, and have a different sacred symbol for each prime number. Then we will live in a world where multiplication and exponentiation are easy.

All numbers should be even, there is just something odd about other kinds of numbers.

>different sacred symbol for each prime number.
This will not work because there are infinitely many primes.

So what? There are infinitely many decimal numbers but we still use them.

Okay but 8 isn't divisible by three and 13 isn't either

Holy shit 15 is divisible by 3
Anonymous No.16739359

>but 8 isn't divisible by three
Wrong :

[math]8_{base10}/3_{base10}=22_{base3}/10_{base3}[/math]
[math](8/3)_{base10}=2.2_{base3}[/math]

Same reason with :
>>16739270
>and 13 isn't either

13 in base 10 is 111 in base 3.
...
...
11.1
