>turn on new telescope
>specifically designed to track moving objects
>keep record of moving objects in the sky over time
>it finds moving objects
>everyone freaks out
>ITS MUH AYYYLMAOSSS!!!!

The hubris of astronomers. They really believed that we had all the answers off a few still pictures? They made all these fucking "theories" about how many objects are out there and how they behave using hardly any evidence and just ran with it. They made lifetime careers off bullshit "big bang" and "dark energy" crap and now one single telescope is tearing it all apart. All because we finally decided to LOOK.
If you're an "expert" keep your damn mouth shut unless you have real evidence for your claims. The general public isn't buying it anymore.

Btw who says that thing is truly interstellar? Might just be a regular comet that got nudged slightly off its elliptical course out in the Oort ...

Baffling that the impression from experts is that there's been an increase in interstellar objects, independent of the fact that we now have a telescope capable of spotting them

What are you talking about? The astronomers taking about 3I ATLAS being aliens are fringe quacks/brazen liars. The others are know nothing/sci/zos.

Escape velocity for the solar system is about 40 km/s. The likely interstellar objects we've seen so far have escape velocity in excess of 20-60 km/s over that. That's not something a gravitationally-bound object is pick up from a 'nudge'.

You can’t even go to space anyways. Literally a waste of time worrying about it. . Radiation will vaporize us once we leave earths electromagnetic layers.

there's many ways objects can be moving at 60 km/s. simply getting gravity assist from objects larger than what the solar system contains will do it.

The largest object in the solar system is the Sun. Larger that that are other stars. So you're saying they are interstellar objects?
