Science debates in the modern era are just a bunch of 'huh' and 'what' in response to people seriously trying to convey a point. Confused people should not debate. It's holding science back. They block creativity in the mind making possibly good scientists unconfident, trapping advancement in the past.

Science should be held back. Technology isn’t improving anyone’s life. Just making it worse. Life used to be simple. Now I’m worried about a 1000 things.

You clearly don't believe that or instead of engaging with strangers through information technology, you would reject technology and go innawoods like uncle ted except without delving into bomb making technology.

>You clearly don't believe that or instead of engaging with strangers through information technology,
You are forced to use technology. The most relevant technological change was agricultural mechanization and the development of chemical fertilizer. These made the price of grain drop and forced most people to live in cities where they NEEDED motorized transport and electronic communications.
You are FORCED to use technology as your survival depends on it. Ancient ways of living become economically impossible or are banned outright. Try being a hunter gatherer and just duke it out with park rangers and ranchers armed with automatic rifles

Not this technology, no, not even information technology in general, but you go out of your way to use technology you are not forced to use because you don't believe anything in >>16739843.

>Ancient ways of living become economically impossible or are banned outright.
Nope you haven't even tried to go innawodds, the only thing outright preventing you is that you prefer the comfort and stimulation that technology provides to the point you are terminally online.

>Try being a hunter gatherer and just duke it out with park rangers and ranchers armed with automatic rifles
Then go somewhere without park rangers, actually go innawoods, not into a park or take to international waters and fight nature yourself instead of crying about how you can't possibly do that without depending on other people's technology.

There are no places without armed people where a hunter gatherer would go. Armies patrol everywhere and any place with a rich ecosystem is a national park or private land.

"technology" as most see it these days isn't science, it's marketing.

There are places in the midwest where they will literally pay you to move to and give you free land to develop because they are desperate for people to live there, so the state doesn't have to pay for pest/weed control on large swaths of empty vacant plots of land.
