Does it matter? I don't think so.
Is a coral alive? Yes. Can a coral think? No.
Same goes for trees. You don't need the ability to think to be alive.

This is what happens when we give LLMs read-only access to the web.
We need to give them a bit to flip on their own volition before they get too bored.
