They're a very similar type of thing. Just one occurs with a regularity that aligns with a person in the process of falling asleep and having sleep paralysis. Literally every scientists who has ever dug into it ever. Theres millions of scientists and plenty have looked into this literally all over the world, finding nothing. If anything was ever found our powers and scientists would put an intense focus on ghosts because they would significantly change our worldviews, theories and would open the gates for insane technological advances. According to the mythology they can just pop up anywhere and do whatever the storyteller wants them to do to move their narrative along from going through walls, manipulating objects, fucking posessing people for their own gain, etc. Somehow only appearing at night and in uncanny places where tragedies have places ofc ofc. Typicaly happens in every report ever and its complete nonsense. Again, crazy that they only pop up where people died, places of historical significance (but only for the past not the present) places that look uncanny visually and almost always appear at night. And crazy how nations of scientists who would obviously need to know this (who if they find out ghosts exist would lead to a scientific and technological revolution) have deep dug and found nothing all over the world like I previously stated. Why are all claimed ghost sightings of people who died 100-200 years ago? Where are all of the caveman ghosts? Where are all of the 1990s ghosts whispering "WHAAAZZZUP" through the walls? The global population was significantly higher in 1999 than in 1800 so we should expect the record far more incidents of people who died in the 1990s than the Victorian era.
