When I stand on my bathroom scale with a full mug of beer in my hand and drink it, the total weight should theoretically stay the same, right? But I've noticed that the display clearly shows it going down ever so slightly as I drink it. How the fuck is this possible? I'm not spilling anything. Where does the excess weight go?

Just tried this with water and the scale didn't register any difference (drank ~750ml). Though my scale only shows down to 1/5s of pounds. So maybe fp was bp and the carbonation has an effect.
